Hi Guys,

I know this question has probably been asked a million times but i just want to know what the ideal temperature of the water should be.

My current temperature is around 10-12c, is this to low?

Also what speed and mA settings should be used to cut 3mm ply?

Thanks

hi there
min. temperature should be 15C, speed and mA depends on what focal lense you got how exact the focal distance you have set and what kind of plywood you use.
the HD plywood takes longer around 5 to 8mm/s and has failure in it where the laser can not cut maybe with two or three runs. mA if the tube is not over 500 hours old and the water temperature is between the limits ( 15 to 23C) around 13mA
greetings

I run my K40 tube at 18.5 to 19.5 deg C - a bit of trial and error has shown this to provide me with the 'best' cut.
