Hello,
I am looking at getting a 0-999'F Temperature Controller and can find no manual or detailed tech sheet on it to see if it will work for my application.
I am looking for something that has a remote sensor (thermocouple, thermistor, etc.) that I can use as a high limit and low limit switch that will run a 110volt coil on a relay. In other words, if the temp drops below around 150deg f or gets higher than 250deg f it will open and shut the system down. I would also like to use it as a display to see the current temperture.
Seems simple, but it's tough to find something that will do all that economically.

Re: Question about 0-999' F Temperature Controller
The JLD612 and the similar 614 will do this easily, using a built-in hysteresis (Hy) routine. Choice of temp sensor will depend on temp range; probably a K thermocouple will be best for you. You can download the JLD612 manual from the Lightobject site and review the control options available.
