How many amps does the power supply draw?

Hi,

I am about to purchase a relay to control the off/on power to the laser power supply. I've got the JLD40W.

If the draw of the power supply truly is 20 to 45watts and I've got a 35watt tube then:

watts/volts = amps
35 watts / 120 = .291 Amps

Does that sound right?

No. Get 4A or 5A instead
The CO2 laser tube is not 100% efficiency but 10% only
