I have an LO Q1600s with the built in heater. With the coming of winter, I would like to know how to turn on the heating element. My CO2 laser in a non climate controlled shop.
I have looked through the JLD612 manual and it appears to me that I need to go into the initialization settings and set "rd" = 0. Is this correct?
Is there a way to set the heater to automatically come on if the temperature falls below a certain level and then switch back to cooling when necessary? For example, today started out at 50° F (10° C) but soon warmed up. I would like to be able to set the chiller to heat the water when it is below 18° C but start cooling once it reaches 20° C. Is this possible?
Q1600 manual has no information on this.
Thank you.

Re: Q1600s - Enable Heater
You don't change setting on the JLD612 controller. The heater is self-controlled. The kick-in temp is set to 14'C and cut-off is set to 18'C.
