gp400z burn out?
Was happily working yesterday when power went out to my GP400.
I unplugged and replugged the unit back in.
I could see the power flash to the led of the gp400 and stepper controllers for a fraction of a second but not stay on.
I took the cover off to check the fuse inside and that was not blown.
I then got the multimeter out and made sure I have 120v coming in and V1 and V2 are out putting 1.7v and 7v respectfully.
Any ideas? please help.

I don't think anyone know your machine at all by just posting the model number "GP400". Note that there are thousands of different model laser machine out there and the model means nothing. You need to be more specific on your problem and you need to provide more info about your machine before asking help from us. Can't just ask "It won't work, why"
It is better to post pictures of your machines.

Marco,
Its the GPZA400U power controller that I bought from light object for a 600x900mm 100watt build.

Power controller? Did you mean the "Laser power supply"?
Shoot me a picture, please

Re: gp400z burn out?
That is the power supply for the dps. V1 should put out 24V and V2 should put out 36V what do you have this hooked up to power?

Re: gp400z burn out?
Did you set the AC power switch to "AC110V"?
By default, it is set to AC220V

Re: gp400z burn out?
Yes I understand it should be putting out 24/36v. It was working completely fine as was the whole system until it randomly stopped between jobs, so as said in first post I opened it up checked fuse and the outputs that are very low. Yes it is set to 110.

Re: gp400z burn out?
Unplug wires that connected to the output and test the open voltage appears on the output terminals. You may have shorted circuit somewhere or it may be a faulty DC power supply (very low chance)

Re: gp400z burn out?
Thank you Marco!
From the looks of things I would appear there is a short in the system despite nothing changing.
Going to rewire and let you know.
Thanks again

Marco,
I'm pulling things apart to find the short and I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere for a awc608 to jp 100, to GPZA400U.
Could you link me please?
Thanks

Re: gp400z burn out?
There is no connection diagram specificly for the power supply and the DSP. We provide generic connection diagram only. DC36v for the motor drivers and 24v for the DSP card.

Re: gp400z burn out?
Didn't you receive a complete connection diagram from us?
Most PWM laser power supply are having almost identical connection. You can find the connection here by searching on this forum
