HB404 AC Wattmeter (404PWA) datasheet corrections

Post by rgangell »

Re file HB404PWA.pdf on this site:
Features: AC current input probably starts at 0.01A (not 01.A); analogy should be analog. (Ditto for example setup.)
Specs: Operating voltage to 260V (not 360 – maybe; not sure).
Key Setting: Enter input password using arrow keys, [then press SET].
The first table of parameters should be labeled (A) Operating Parameters, password 0089
Alarm/relay Operation, 3, re AH1= AL1 (not AH1), the relay unlatches.
Analog output table parameters: The note for 0bH is *3 (not *2), and for 0bL is *2 (not *3), and there are no decimals in the settings for upper or lower limit.
Figure 5, Back Plate: Terminals 15-16 are for J1 (not J2); 18-20 are for J2 (not J1). Sticker is wrong too. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU’LL BE USING THE RELAY OUTPUTS!
Example for 6KV, 100A: When power go over 500W (not 110), relay J1 latches; convert 0-600KW (not 0-100W) to 4-20ma.
Setup for example: Alarm setting for AL2 = 0.110 (not 0.090). (Decimals probably aren’t relevant for AH2 and AL2; I didn’t try that; perhaps they mean to say W, not KW.)
