20Adc LED Meter Error Code "1"

Post by Leeboyland »

I get error code "1" (overload) when I connect your 20Adc LED Meter, as follows. 1. Connect 6Vdc to the DC 5V to power the meter. 2. "IN" to the LED meter: connect the red wire from the meter to the positive side of a 12V battery (load - to be charged), and connect the black wire to the red wire on a small solar panel (output: 22Vdc, 120 mA). 3. Connect the negative side of the battery to the black wire on the solar panel. Then I get error code "1". The meter is inserted in series within the circuit. I want to monitor the current from the solar panel that charges the 12V battery on my bicycle. When I connect an analog meter exactly as above, I can read the mA output of the solar panel. Any suggestions? Thanks!
