Specail Note: 3-Axis CNC Controller C1 issue

Post by Tech_Marco »

Just found out that a batch of this controller(sold between July and August) may be installed a low voltage capacitor "C1" by mistake. It's supposed to be a 36V or 50V, 100uF capacitor be installed. It turned out that it can only support DC12V power. If it's powered by DC24V, it will cause an explode to that capacitor. If you bought a card from us during that period, and you need to run with 24V power, please double check the capacitor before power it up.

Solution: You can correct it by replacing it with a 36V or 50V 100uF capacitor. See the attached image.

If we purchase this card TODAY, will it have the correct (higher voltage) capacitor or will we still need to deal with it ourselves?
