I setup a new file to engrave some text. In the past it would scan an entire line like an inkjet printer, now it is engraving one complete letter at a time. File was .svg created in Inkscape. I converted all my objects (text) to paths, and opened the file in Raycam. Set my text color and selected engrave. Did I change a setting accidentally?

It's a setting somewhere, i changed it somewhere in the past, but i can't remember exactly what it was... something like BMP-optimize.
But i can't reproduce it anymore else i could tell you.
You have to search in that direction anyway..

I’ve run it with bmp optimize on and off, no difference.

Check or unchecked the "Auto Group" should take care your issue
