DSP Extend Space on R5 DSP.

Post by LaserGoodies »

I have been having problems with my DSP saying it needs extended space when etching. It will etch a short amount and then stop and yell at me. Cutting works fine and can use the whole 1200mm x 900mm. Any help would be appreciated with this problem. YouTube video to the video of the problem I have made. http://youtu.be/rjwgfKNZL3A

I just got my R5 today and fired it up on the bench to get familiar with it and I am having the same problem. Have you found a solution for this issue yet?

To answer my own question. It has to do with the origin setting and where you position the start of the xy position.

That error could be more descriptive. I have a feeling it was trying to etch past 0 limits.
