Hi all
I always see discussion about semi 3D engraving ( grey scale)
OK I have lots of success with my old 608 to do this.
her is how I do it :
1. load pic in corel photopaint and resample to the size I need and 600 DPI and convert to grey scale, save it as BMP
2. load the pic in lasercad dithered with 0.015 and set the scan to 0.04 and the speed to 100 to 150
and that's it.
sometimes depending on the material I give it a second run with the same settings
maybe this helps a bit

Nice Work!

Those look really good. Be careful when saving it as a BMP though as you may be losing quite a bit of resolution with that. Try using a PNG instead. This will allow you to increase the resolution. (Take my advice with a grain of salt though as your images look much better than mine do.)

Can you post one of your originals after you have done your photo edits?
