I am able to communicate with the DSP via USB just fine but would like to get the network connection set up. I have the DSP hardwired to a hub that is hardwired to my wireless router. My computer is wireless to the router. The routers DHCP usually assigns 198.168.1.XXX addresses. I figured that it would assign the DSP an address but that is not the case. I assigned the network address in LaserCAD to 192.168.1.125. Then I went into the DSP setup via the menu button to set the network address and I am unable to change it. I arrow to the part of the address and select Enter to change it and the display goes back to the prior menu on the display. I am probably not using the correct procedure to change the network address in the display. How can I change it and if I do, am I going about this the correct way so that the LaserCAD v7.36 program can communicate with the X7 DSP?
thanks,
Bill
