Can I and if so how control the power when I press the laser pulse button on the controller of the DSP X7?

The Laser button power is controlled by the "Max Power(%)" setting.
To change this setting:
press and hold the STOP button, then press the SHIFT button. The Manufacturer Parameters Setting menu will appear
select the Laser Parameters menu
select the Max Power(%) setting and change the value
press Enter
press Reset (important ... apparently the controller will not apply the new setting until Reset is pressed)
Example:
For our laser, our standard Max Power = 43% which allows our users to cut with a max of 16mA thru our 45W Light Object tube.
When we align mirrors, we reduce the Max Power setting to 21%. After this settings change, pressing the Laser button produces just enough laser power to burn a mark in tape.
