LaserCad 7.96 - Missing WorkCount

I recently grabbed a copy of LaserCad 7.96 and noticed that the Work Count option is greyed out along with PPI. Does anyone know why this is? I can't seem to enable them anywhere...but then again, I might not be on the newest version either. I've been out of the loop for a while on the software updates.
