This is all my laser tube says so how do I find out max output for amp meter ?

You won't get 40W from this tube (assuming 720-750mm long) but possible 35W at most. In general this tube output 32W. The tube was manufactured a year ago so you may experience lower power output, possible at 25W now. Current for the tube should never go over 15mA but most K40 doesn't has a current meter installed and over current always happened

Thanks Marco, I’m sure I have went way over that most of the time the laser came with a led display but it was for percentage and I cut at 95 percent power most of the time, since I put the x7 in i wasn’t sure what power to use, at 70 percent power was 16.6 mA so I better cut it back a little more or not and finish my tube off and get a new one...
