Im looking to add an air valve for my air assist. I have a K40 with DSP upgrade.

Can the DSP control the air valve at the start of a job?

If it can how do I go about wiring it?

I did this with my R8 controller using a solid state relay that light object sells and the software controls the relay which is wired to the compressor. One thing you failed to mention in your post was which dsp do you have so we could be more specific.
