Please Help With Wavy Lines While Engraving

Post by CloudBoxMods »

Hello Everyone. After emailing back and forth with lightoject support, it was recommended that I post my issue in the forum for some additional help.

I have recently convert my K40 to the X7 controller and Im currently experiencing an issue of having wavy lines on certain portion of my engravings. I have the focal length set up properly and what makes it stranger is that I have no issues with cutting, so my current problem is isolated to engraving.

I am not sure how to correct this problem and I will be extremely grateful for any and all help that can be given.

I don't think it is a setting issue. You may need to check those four wheels that mounted on the cartridge.
Also, check all mirrors/lens see if it got lose

Marco,

Thank you for the advice. I went through and checked all of my mirrors and found that one of the mirrors had come a little lose. Now from what I can see everything is working just fine. I greatly appreciate your help with this. :D
