Having a problem with k40 upgrade motor drivers. One of them has stopped working. Can an.yone tell me, is the little green led just power on indicator, or is there a circuit breaker built in?
Thanks!

Re: Motor drivers
Yes, it is a power indicator. There should be a red LED and if it lit up, something wrong with the output. Could be short circuit or could be a bad motor

Re: Motor drivers
Everything seemed to be working perfectly.... I went to use the machine yesterday and when turned on, It did not home properly. Y axis moved all the way to limit switch, x axis did not move. On investigation I noticed that the green led on the x axis driver was not lit. I tried plugging x axis driver into the y axis output on the dsp....nothing. It would seem that either the driver or the motor is not working. Any other diagnostics I can do to determine where the problem lies?
Thanks!!!!

Re: Motor drivers
After more checking... The x axis motor will run when plugged into the y driver. So I must have either a bad driver or a loose connection somewhere???
