I have done a lot of experimenting with LaserCAD and I am getting used to it, Hopefully LaserCAD can have some nice fetaures like Grayscale, Overlap line removal that works, A way to use the rotary without rewiring the Y axis, a few more drawing tools, and a library of objects. Other features like Export the vectors so I can use them or save them, but I think it will be a long time to catch up.
Just saying if I wanted easy I would have stayed with the stock board and software, that was easy and had more drawing features It would have saved me $450 on Corel Draw that I only purchased so I could do basic things like Fit text to path or draw circular text... Easy usually equals less features and less control. The LO-X7 upgrade and LaserCAD is more complicated but has allowed me to produce much nicer work, however is still limited,
