Just started my build last night.....Do I still need to use Laser arm switch and Laser test button? Or is this done through the DSP.....I'm upgrading one of the eBay lasers with the X7 DSP........Thanks in advance for your help.....

Re: upgrade question
Great job! Can't wait to see some great art work donoe by your machine. We're waiting to ...
BTW, I'm building a 640 machine, a complete system with my frame and XLE XY stage + X7 DSP controller card
This time, I am trying to use a 40A SSR to control main power for Emergency Shut Off. And, I will install a beam combiner/expander
It is a 45W machine with 1M long laser tube. Once completed, then I will add the scissor type power Z table. I'm slow though.... but I should be able to complete it sometimes on next week.
After this project, I'll try a 'local' method to cool off a 40~60W laser tube without a water chiller but with a water evaporation and will share will you fols
