AWC608 - Rotary Adapter

Hello everyone,
I am currently using the AWC608 controller with LaserCAD. Everything works great when cutting / engraving on a flat surface. I just put in a friction type rotary tool, but am having trouble getting the AWC608 controller to engrave a file from LaserCAD. If I set the file to cut, the AWC608 reads the file correctly. If I set the file to engrave, the AWC608 reads the file as a line. If I set it up as x-swing, or x-unilateralism, the AWC608 displays and engraves a horizontal line. If I set it up as y-swing, or y-unilateralsim, the AWC608 displays and engraves a vertical line. The most interesting thing I've found is that if I run a box (which displays the outer perimeter of the file), the machines correctly outlines where the file should be engraved.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I may have overlooked? Thanks in advance.
