Issues with the software?

Lately, I am noticing that when I import files from the LO software to the machine, the laser head is jumping from one path to another instead of cutting it continuously. It finishes the job but the behavior is odd. I create my files in Illustrator and import them into LO software.
Another weird issue is with text outlines. I create text layers in Illustrator, import them into LO software, Select that layer and mark them for engraving, export it to the machine, and then I see that some portions of the text get exported to the machine and not the whole thing.

In both scenarios, it seems when I am importing the files into LO software, it is breaking the paths in some areas and treating them as individual shapes.

Anyone else having this issue? Should I update my software? Please help

First are you importing them manually, or are you using the plugin extension?
Also what steppers are you using, 2 phase, 3 phase, and what drivers and microstep setting are you using?
I just need to know more specifics to possibly be able to help, like software versions, DSP flash version, etc.
