3-1/2 Digital Blue LCD DC 2V 20V Meter (8035) JUST GOT THIS AND HOOKED UP TO 4 "C BATTERYS" AND NOTHING CAME ON THEN TO A 12 VOLT BATTERY AND NOTHING WHATS UP

When you hook up the battery power to the meter (red, black), was the LCD light up or not?
If not, it could be defective.

NO THE LIGHT NEVER CAME ON, BUT I CALLED AND GETTING A REPLACEMENT,
P.S. IN THE ENLARGED PICTURE OF THE PRODUCT YOU CAN RIGHT CLICK ON THE PICTURE AND SAVE PICTURE IN ORDER TO LOOK AT THE WIRING PLACES
ALSO THE GREEN WIRE GOES TO POSITIVE

Red = + power
Black = Gnd
Green & Blue: Voltage input
The meter is common ground so the input ground is the same as the power ground (black)
Usually the wire next to the black is the ground also. You don't need the ground input if you measure it's own voltage
Black = Gnd
