Mult-function 1CH RF Remote Control "flickers"

I just set up a remote apartment entry as per this Instructable: http://www.instructables.com/id/keyless ... ing-entry/
It works like a charm and the distance is great.
One thing though, every couple of minutes the relay "flickers" as though I was repeatedly pushing the remote button.
Any ideas why it would do this and how I can stop it?
It's actually quite annoying in my little apartment.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
