Voltage for Receiver Unit

Post by wdwray »

The wireless receiver (4 Channel with relays) is rated for 12 volts; what is the range of voltages it will tolerate? I'd like to use one in an application with a 14.4 volt power source.

Then you should install a voltage regulator say "7812" IC. 14.4V seems too high for the controller.

just got my 1527 Tx/Rx Kit (Metal case) today and with no readily available 12v supply decided trying a 9 volt. it worked but now curious about long term effects this might have on the circuit. should I be asking this in a new post? :)

It won't be stable if driven by 9V
