Just got the unit. I was able to change the mode from the default momentary to toggle

Now that I have it programmed how can I disable the buzzer/siren?
It would be preferable but not necessary to be able to turn on/ reconnect in the future.

Can't do it. You may want to un-soldering it out simply by placing a tap on top of it
