I have received my 8 channel RF8A-1 unit and it doesn't seem to operate or program as I expected. Maybe I am reading your programming instructions wrong so here is what is happening:
Here is the sequence I have been trying:
1. Push learn button
2. Push the channel key that I am going to program
3. Push the mode key (In my instance it would be 4 for momentary)
I did this and channel 1 works fine but activates relay 8 according to the diagrams. I played some more and now 2,4,6,8 are working but different relays (button 8 on the remote activates relay 1) but buttons 3,5,7 do nothing for any relays.
Can anyone clarify the programming for me. I assume for each key you would program as above 1 through 3.
I don't see how I can be misreading the instructions but maybe I am. Are all 8 channels capable of momentary control?
Thanks in advance

Re: Programming the 8 channel system
Try to do 'Clean up' first before doing learning again see if it helps
8CH can be programmed in two group with two different modes; 1~4 and 5~8

I did do a complete reset of the unit twice.. I may be under a misconception here so let me go over the programming with you.Tech_Marco wrote:Try to do 'Clean up' first before doing learning again see if it helps

You say the 8 channel can be programmed in two groups. What exactly do you mean? You also say that each group can have different modes.
Can you show me the exact sequence that I would use to program all 8 channels to momentary mode? For example:
1. push learn key
2. push channel key (1 for example)
3. push mode key (in my case 4)
4. push learn key
5. push channel key (2 for example)
6. push mode key (in my case 4)
and so on and so forth?
Does learn mode end after it sees the channel and mode of the first channel as above?
Also why does the drawing show relay 1 in one spot but when I push the remote 1 key it activates the channel 8 relay?
Thanks

Product doesn't work as expected and when I asked for clarification as above for the programming I find out that my IP address is banned!

Well, I would have to say a negative post is well deserved when I try to log in using my regular IP address that is not on any SPAM list but your board indicates that my IP address has been banned. What would you take from that?Tech_Marco wrote:This is NOT what you though the way we're doing here. We don't block IP for non-answered email .What made you think that way?!

If your remote control worked as is supposed to then there would be little need for me to have posted anything.
At this point feel free to remove me from your board as I will not be returning. It is obvious that there is no fix from your organization regarding the problems I have had with the remote control.
Have a wonderful day!
