JLD612 ssr voltage too low
I have everything set up correctly, but my multimeter reads only .5 vdc from the ssr pins on the JLD612. I believe it is defective. Any ideas?

Re: JLD612 ssr voltage too low
Not necessary. It depends on the stages of the controller is running. If PV and SV is getting very closed, the output is very low from 0, 0.5V, 1V... bouncing up and down and LED blink. But if SV is far from the PV, there is almost a DC 6V (not 8V) output from the controller's SSR output pins. You can use the arrow kep to set the SV higher than the PV and the LED (Out) should be constantly On instead of blinking. The output should be around 6V in this case. Try it

Unfortunately, no, even with the sv set at over 200 degrees above the pv, I still get no more than 1.5 vdc from pins 6&7 (the ssr out pins). The out light is solid on but no increase in voltage. Fortunately it is brand new. I have sent a request for a replacement.

What is the output mode you configured the controller, 0,1,2,3,4 ?
Choose 2 for SSR
If it's still not working, sure you can send it back for exchange.
