Can a JLD612 output a 0-5vdc control signal?

Post by punitor1 »

Hello,

I am interested in using a JLD612 (Low DC version) to control this pump's speed control:
http://www.lightobject.com/Heavy-Duty-3 ... Id=1283289

The PID would need to output a 0-5vdc (from its SSR relay outputs?) analog or PWM control signal which would control the coolant pump speed proportionately and to the thermoresister (PT100) temperature.

Like this:
Target temp 20.0c
Actual PT100 temp 20.0c
Coolant pump runs at 20% capacity based on 1vdc signal from PID

Target temp 20.0c
Actual PT100 temp 22.0c
Coolant pump runs at 50% capacity based on 2.5vdc signal from PID

Target temp 20.0c
Actual PT100 temp 24.0c
Coolant pump runs at 100% capacity based on 5vdc signal from PID

Is this possible? Or is their a better/easier way to do it?

Solved -

After much research - and talking with lightobject - thank you. I decided to program a ARM to do the task - much simpler and cheaper.
