So here's my problem.

I have this pad with a built in 100k thermistor

When I try P10.0 or p100 I get EEE.E but when I set it to J mode (even though its for a thermocouple) I get a reading but at room temperature it keeps climbing higher and high. I know I'm wrong but how am I wrong and whats the best way to fix this?


Basically I'm just trying to heat the pad to a temp and hold it there.

The controller won't work with a thermistor -- it isn't programmed for that type of sensor. I recommend that you use a Pt100 probe or K type thermocouple.
