Engraving issues & funny cut on curves

Hey everyone...just got the new and fancy setup built from LO. This is an existing AWC608 computer on a new PR650 stage with a fresh SPT 45W tube.

But I'm having a few issues I didn't have on previous laser builds. I suspect something is wonky with my X-Axis since the engraving is really out of whack, but also when I cut anything with a circle it's also a bit weird and misshapen.

Things I've done:

Upped/changed current to the motors.
Ruled out the step setting (uM) is the issue since I can drastically move it around and the issue stays.
Calibrated to within much less than a mm.
Loosened belts to make sure they weren't too tight.
Alignment is pretty centered within the 5mm nozzle hole.
It seems to cut anything square, exactly to size.
If I cut rounds, then it won't finish where it starts.

Engraving-
X-Swing Unidirectional, it's a flawless engrave
X-Swing Bidirectional, it's horrible (regardless of speed)

Y-Swing Bidirectional, it's not quite flawless but quite nice
Y-Swing Unidirectional, untested.

I've attached photos of the settings of my machine, of the X & Y axis and the image of the engraving/cutting issues.

I'm stumped :(

There are some settings you may want to change it:
1) X acceleration: set it to 8000mm/^2
2) X speed: 500
3) Cutting jerk: 25,000
3b) Idel jerk: 40,000
4) Engraving acceleration: 8000
5) Speed factor: 1.5

Give it a try. BTW, I'm not sure what is "PR650". AWC608 is time to upgrade to X7s smile

Hi Marco,

Hahahaha, yeah it's on the to-do list. Is there any big reasons to upgrade over my 608 other than the funky color screen and it being real pretty?

Sorry, PR530. But also I figured it out! Turns out I had not set the bearing tightness correctly on my X axis bearing rollers. I took the axis apart and checked the roll resistance, turns out I had twisted it wrong and it was rolling hard. Silly thing to overlook but man it caused me so much headache! Now that I adjusted and cleaned it up, it runs like a dream. SO HAPPY! :D
