NEMA 23 3 PHASE 573S15 5.2A 212IN-OZ STEPPER MOTOR

Post by robstach2 »

Okay - maybe I was a bit ambitious for a first build but I'm sure I can do it.... I think.
It would certainly help if there wasn't so much conflicting information though!

Here's my latest dilemma. MY Y motor only has 3 wires as stated below but when pulling up the product page it lists it as having 6 wires.... ;)

Additionally, as you can see below, the X motor claims to have 3 wires but mine has 6...? This matches the product page.

So, setting the driver to 5.8 A for a test, I get a very shaky start until the DSP boots. According to the diagram I was sent, there is a jump between PUL+ and DIR+ ... anyone know if this is correct?

Based on my response fro LO Support, I need to set the current to one step lower. That's fine.

Still, any thoughts on my motor acting crazy during boot? Humming, spinning, and sputtering.
