Hi Guys,
I would like to have an additional switch to the emergency and main power, which I can control the tube mainly for running dry runs without the laser firing. My question is - where do I put the laser off/on switch ?
One option will be to have a separate mains line to the laser PSU - and put the switch in that line - this will be high voltage - 240V
Another option will be to put the switch on the PWM wire from the 708 controller to the laser PSU - is this OK?
Have seen someone did put a switch in series to the WP line on the PSU - is this a good idea ?
Many thanks
Isaac

Re: Laser Off/On switch questions
Yes cut off connection to the water sensor terminal “WP” is a good choice. If you want to be more safe, you can use a double ‘throw?’( forgot the term)switch to cut off both WP and TTL from the LPSU and it will disable it from firing absolutely

Re: Laser Off/On switch questions
Thanks Marco
Yes - I think to have a switch that will cut-off both functions at the LPSU is the best option.
