I'm torn between a Reci and the SP 80w tube sold by LO. In looking again at the SP80, it says no soldering iron used or the warranty voided.
I've heard the Reci tubes have a sweet screw style post, but all other tubes have the wire lead hanging out. If you're not soldering it, what are you doing to connect those tubes?

I did see some cheap connection thing on BuildYourCNC where you soldered your wire onto some sort of connector that screwed tight on the laser lead? Is that the "main" non-solder method?

It gives a reliable connection and does not put stress on the connection posts.
