I am trying to hook up the magnetic safety on the laser door. I hooked one wire from magnet to 1 in and the other wire form magnet to gnd. The laser worked when the door was open and wouldn't work when door was closed.
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: Magnetic switch on door
What kind of controller do you have?
I thought you can invert the function in the X7.

If you haven't found it yet:
When you press STOP and SHIFT simultanious, you enter the manufacturer settings.
Ther you see Option 3: IO Parameters. Select that.... there you see "Open protection", set that to "Open" and set "Input Valid Level" to "High Level" if it was "Low Level" or vice versa..
