Power supply or tube fluctuating
I have a 50w Chinese laser upgraded to the 60 Lightobjects tube and 60w power supply. I am mainly etching powder coated cups.my question is, when I start the program it starts etching fine then randomly drops power enough to not be consistent and etch all the through the powder coat. It's not every cup or every time just random throughout different programs. when it happens I notice the amp meter power drop.

Re: Power supply or tube fluctuating
It is probably caused by electromagnetic field. Most Chinese laser machine do not have good grounding
Therefore, you need to double check your machine and make sure all major electrical components are well grounded.

Re: Power supply or tube fluctuating
I have checked all my grounds. I have just been bearing with the fluctuating of power, but now it has started maxing out the Miliamp meter past thirty. I think the problem is the power supply itself. I have a cooler in my water so I know I'm good there I even hooked up a direct ground. I don't want to mess up my tube.
