CO2 laser power supply connection

Hi,
I am new to laser cutting and I am currently trying to modify my CNC to Laser cutter.
I am using a 60 W laser tube and power supply

I have few doubts
Will it produce laser if I make following connections?
TL and WP to GND
IN - no connection.
This was the connection I made today to test but when I turned on the supply from power socked it emitted laser. Isn't supposed to emit when apply a signal to IN terminal(either pwm or 0-5V analog)?
I trying to use TinyG as the controller(haven't succeeded yet)
Is there any other controller and software that I can use for laser cutting and engraving?
