You need limit switch only and it should install at the top of the Z table. You set the travelling distance by using the LCD control menu.
You nred to calculate the 'um' value jus like what you did on the Xand the Y

Was messing with the auto focus today. Went into the X7 display screen and set the common parameters -> auto focus distance (mm) to 90 and its not moving much off when it hits. Maybe 5mm below the plunger. Is their another setting to make it acutally move more? I know it does not need to move 90mm down but when it was set to 4-9mm it was barely moving so just did 90 so that i could see large movement.

Also tube should be here tomorrow Does it mater which way the water circulates thru it?

IE the back of the chiller has inlet and outlet. Does it mater what end each connects to?

Connect a host from the 'Outlet' of the chiller to the intake of a laser tube (on coil side). Then, connect the 'Inlet' to the outlet on the negative side of the tube (laser output).

Got it! Any idea on why the DPS autofocus is not moving much?

I am using the new LO beam combiner, do i have this thing pointed right? My tube will be in today and wanted to try to wrap it up asap. Their is no arrows or anything on the combiner so i have no clue :/

Usually you don't need to but in some case they will make an arrow on the side of the lens for better result.
For the Z table, make sure you get a proper 'um' before it work correctly. If I'm not forgotten, the travelling distance is set by using the LCD control panel by press "Shift" & "Stop" two buttons together to access the menu. You only need to install a limit switch is for the 'ceiling' limit. The bottom limit is software controlled through the travelling distance.

Mirrors aligned and seems to be chugging along! I just did the test file, have not messed with the height from the item to the table yet to see what gives best result so this is a raw run

Sorry for the lack of updates! We have been super busy here at the warehouse! the laser is 100% complete and running with the exception of the door shutoff. Think thier is a software bug. Here is some pictures of the completed project. All in all I have about $6500.00 USD in it. Thats all the odd ball stuff i had to pick up, shipping cost and all the side panels. Not too shabby for a 100watt laser! The side skins are made of 1/4 acrylic and abs plastics. Worked out nicely

Luckily we sell electronics mainly so we are pretty up and up on keeping that warehouse clean
