I just unpacked the optics for my laser build, and noticed that there is either a film, or corrosion, or scratching on the mirror side of the molybdenum. Anyone know what this is? Thanks!

It's a layer of protection oil to protect the 'MO' from oxication.
User hot water and soap and you should be able to clean it.
Please do not rug it so hard or it may cause scratched on the surface
