Real Current meter connection w/ isolated power module shunt

A lot of folks don't understand that a current meter (ammeter) do need a shunt to work with. All our current meters are designed exclusively for a 75mV type dc shunt. See picture below for a real example.

This configuration setup assume that the current going through the shunt is coming from the same power sources as the meter. That way, a dc-dc isolated power module must be used to provide an independence power for the meter as no common ground is allowed for a current meter. Failed to do so will end up a 'well cooked' meter.
