JLD7100

Post by Rick0825 »

This is my last hope. Can you guys help? I have 24 volts DC as my main power source to the JLD7100 PID controller. I'm trying to output 12 volts DC on J1 relay or SSR output either one but the most I get is 2.5 volts no matter what I do. I'm using a J type temp sensor. Seeing out (AT) and AL lights coming on and off but no voltage output. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Do you have DC version JLD7100 or AC model?

The SSR signal output from our PID controller is 8V (open circuit, no load connected) with 20~25mA current. It can be used to power a SSR or low current devices.

There is no way you can get output DC12V unless you feed in the DC power sources from an external power supply and feed in voltage to the Relay J1 or J2 on the COM port. Once the relay energized, the N.O. (normally opened) contact closed and connect to the COM, then you will get the output (12V) from the N.O. legs

Ok you lost me. I have 24 volts DC going to 1 & 2. Thermocouple on 6 & 7. A 12 volt mini blower fan on 4 & 5. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time and help.

If I use an SSR with the PID controller which one would be a good match?
