Is there a way of wiring in the big red emergency shut off button to shut off the laser and stop the movement without shutting down the controller or turning off the power to the whole machine?

I'm asking because I was thinking that shutting down the whole machine would cause me to have to start all over again, instead of picking up where I left off on the project.

Maybe a better question is, What is the most useful wiring of the red emergency button?

Wire it so the entire machine shuts down. The Emergency-stop is used when a "O-Crap" moment is occurring, like what you're cutting catches on fire.
