Why does this feature not work? I reorder a single cut but nothing I do makes it stay. Seems like it should be a pretty simple process.

Probably you still have "Re-Order Objects" checked when you 'download' the file to the DSP. You need to unchecked this feature if you want to manually change order of the cutting pattern
