Re: 80 watt PS with 100 watt laser tube

Yes you can do it but you must limited the current to 26mA (max 28mA) for better to the tube. You may get boost cutting power but just pay more attention on the current. If the machine doesn't has any current monitor meter, you better get one and installed in series with the laser tube in the Ground...

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Then it is your position relative issue. Just click the button on the menu bar and find one "Positive Relative". Change it to whatever position of your limit switch, in this case, it is Top Left

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Also, your position relative is not right
See the Blue dot. It should be at the Top Left corner

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

I need you to draw a square of 20mm x 20mm. I don't care where but you must try each area to get the square cut.
I think you may have 'um' issue

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Draw 'One' circle at a time and placed it on each corner one at a time. No more than two circle for this test. That way, it will get yourself an idea which corner worked and which one doesn't.

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Pay attention your Range!
Why you set 1200 for X and 900for Y??
Aren't you working on a k40 with 300x200 range?

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

where is the raycam manual. I have the LOX7 manual. Where do I find the keypad zero? From this forum manual download area Pretty much that the operation for both LaserCad and Raycam are the same for your issue. You press "Origin" on your keypad to set 'Origin'. There is no such thing &quo...

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Why don't you start a new file and draw a small circle on each corner to test it. I really have no idea how you setup your machine or setting the location of the laser head. I am guessing that you have setup issue somewhere. Post screen shot of your parameters as posting acceleration alone doesn't h...

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Three Origin mode:
1) Software
2) Machine zero
3) Keypad

In general, we use Keypad to set Origin. Or, select 'Software mode' for the origin and the gantry will start to fire by following art work location on the Raycam accordingly. It should all explained on the manual

Re: t9 Upgrade - Laser Won't Fire

I believed that you have water protection controlled by the Ruda old dsp card.
If so, did you hook up the 'Wp' to the T9 water protection? Or, did you hook up the machine water protection to the laser power supply 'Wp' to enable it?

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

That I can't help. You need to trace where is the Gnd wire to be. It could be sharing with other ground wire somewhere

Here is the connection diagram.

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

It doesn't look that complicated. To connect a limit switch to the board (mechanical momentary switch), you connect one pin from the Normally Opened (N.O.) to the ground and another pin to the X- or Y- or Z-. That is all you need to do! Forget about the 24V or 5V, it is not used for limited switch u...
