MARCO - Just bought a new LO-800W Chiller and have questions

Just got my LO-800W Chiller in and had a question, can the display be switched to Fahrenheit instead of Celsius? if so, how, the manual I found isn't very thorough. What is the wiring for the alarm? any Diagram to wire alarm? Which light is D1 and which is D2? Upper D1? Lower D2? What is D1 for, Roo...

Re: Laser will not fire

Thanks for the info, it is actually up and running now on some test pieces and doing good. I'll double check all connections just to be sure and everything is covered in silicone tube and glue. Just wanted to mention the noise and all, just in case.

Thanks again.

Re: Laser will not fire

Now that laser is firing, it seems to be "dancing" around the silver ring inside the tube and has a crackling sound. I am at about 17% power when it does this. At higher power it does not have the sound but you can see it kind of "walk" around the silver ring. Should I worry and ...

Re: Laser will not fire

No problem, I actually had the second cable, just assumed I didn't need to use it and it was for a second head should I need it. I was going off my other LO-X7 that used one. I am up and firing now, now I am setting mirrors.

Thanks again!

Re: Laser will not fire

That was it, I had a 12 pin. On my other LO-X7 it has the flat blade style connectors and I only needed one. Had no instructions on the "New" style so I figured it was just for the second head.

Thanks for the help!

Laser will not fire

Looked around the forum and cant really find anything that helps so far but here is what I have. Just got a new LO 60W power supply along with a new Light Object 60W tube and the LO-X7 and 708 control board. This is my second machine, first one is a DK40, converted no problem. This one is a complete...

Re: Light Object 600w chiller questions

I better wait to respond until my current $900.00 order reaches my doorstep and all is well. Right now it only shows PRE-shipment info.

Light Object 600w chiller questions

Marco,

Any chance of getting a manual on the LO 600W chiller?

Namely how much distilled water does it hold? Is there a specific water to a coolant ratio?
Better pics of the unit all the way around it to see where the connections for tubing are.

Thanks!

Re: 60 Watt Laser tube - What pump/radiator/fan to use?

Thanks for the replies. Actually the chiller is in my plans but not my budget at the moment. I have a large job that I need both the machines going on and at the end, the profits will convert both machines to coolers. I am planning the current setup listed in my initial post then swapping to the chi...

60 Watt Laser tube - What pump/radiator/fan to use?

Marco, I am fixing to order the laser tube and pump from you for my next laser setup with LO X7 controller setup. Excellent controller by the way, this is my 3rd LO X7 and I Love it! The tube and cooling is all that I have left for this machine to get up and running. I am looking at getting this tub...

Re: Set Time and Date on AWC708C Plus

Techgraphix,

Had a question about the date time program, I run the program and it changes it on the DSP correctly but when I power off the machine and then power it back on it resets to what it was before. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Set Time and Date on AWC708C Plus

Thanks Techgraphix, I wanted to point out incase someone didn't know that you need to be hooked up USB to the DSP. I run my programs over Ethernet and realized that when I got a comm error I needed to do USB....Saw the usb.dll file.

Thanks for the program, the date time had been bugging me.

Re: Outputs not working correctly - Bad 708C card?

Thanks Marco,

Will run the update tomorrow and let you know and will NOT be running solenoid without an I/O board. Will wait to hear when you have correct I/O boards in stock.

Thanks,

LaserCad to Epilogue laser??

Just curious, is there a way to have LaserCad output to a USB Epilogue laser? Epilogue basically just uses Corel and the print function, if not can we request this feature? Laser cad is so much easier to deal with. I do my drawing in CAD software and import to Lasercad to engrave and cut.

Thanks!
