Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

One more thing: double check your micro stepping setting on the motor driver. Double check the DIP switch settings

Check the wire connection again and again

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

What is the um for the Y? You need to configure um for both X and Y Or change the homing speed Somehow I think your in is not right Try 12.5 see how it goes For both X and Y Currently the gantry seems running out of distance ( may be due to wrong um values)so it stop We need to get the gantry to tou...

Re: LED Amp Meter connection question

Easy way is to get an analog 30mA current meter
For fancy looking, get one of our blue 100mA meter and a 24v to 5V voltage isolation power module

Re: LED Amp Meter connection question

You won't use a 200A for a CO2 laser tube because it take less than than 36mA in most laser tube under 200W

A 35mA is equivalent to 0.035A. The 200A meter will show nothing at all but"000"

Re: Lasersoft vs Lasercad

Those software shares a lot of common in terms on functions. Things that differentiated cards are the name of the software and the labeling. I have posted all software and you can download and install it for testing. You should find that they are 90% are common

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

Read the "FAQ" first please

You need to understand the basic of the controller and how to configure the software parameters before asking for help. It is hard for me to do step by step each time a customer purchase a card. Most your questions were covered in the FAQ I posted

Thx

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

Yes it should be covered on manual
Finished the homing first
Focus one issue first before moving back and fro

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

When power up the machine, was the gantry moving toward to the limited switch location? Very important that you have the homing directions aiming towards to the limited switches It should be Top Left on K40 but it could be elsewhere depends upon the manufacturer where the actual switches being insta...

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

You may open the LCD control box and re affirmed a flat cable is connected. Also, unplugged the Marian board connector and plug it back see if any difference made. If not, contact is through email for a LCD pad replacement

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

It was just a joke don't take it serious As I explained to you, you got insufficiency buffer distance alert because either your engraving speed was too fast or the image was set too closed to the edge. You may also drop down engraving acceleration as well say 5000. It is mechanical issue and nothing...

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

Could be back contact on "DIR" on the DSP controller or motor driver. The other reason could be bad LCD buttons template. Can only tell after your test on the software

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

Not sure your Q1 : no Right or Dn but Ok Right and Left
Anyway, can you move it correctly through software?

Q2: You set the object too closed to the side. Remember that system need time to acceleration and deceleration.
If you drop the speed down, the error should go away

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

Did you just enter ".1"??
You need to enter "0.x" with "0." prefix. Do not just use 'lazy' way by just enter period and the number. Give it a try
I don't see any issue here if you follow the proper way to enter "0.x"

Re: Lightobject new DSP laser controller card

Beside cutting acceleration setting too high (600mm/s2), I don't see any 'odd' value on your settings. So, when you recycling the power (Turn off then On) the machine, the laser head move a little but won't move to the X&Y limit switches at all? That's seems quite strange to me. The system must ...
