Re: Max output

You won't get 40W from this tube (assuming 720-750mm long) but possible 35W at most. In general this tube output 32W. The tube was manufactured a year ago so you may experience lower power output, possible at 25W now. Current for the tube should never go over 15mA but most K40 doesn't has a current ...

Re: Raycam only in Chinese

The issue found. The language file 'lang_eng.ini' was missing. It may be caused by unzipped program or it could be removed by anti-virus program but we have no idea. The Zip file we posted included the language file, though. What you need to do is to download the language file and save it to the fol...

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

I won't be surprised it was wiring issue or other hardware issue.

For the new issue ( actually not an issue) just read the FAQ and you will get it. Plus , two others folks just posted similar questions about that so I am not going to repeat again here.

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

Yes
For 2M415, the Opo is equivalent of +5V on other type of stepping motor driver
See the manual: viewtopic.php?f=93&t=3603

I may add another diagram for other type motor driver to avoid confusion. On X7 manual, it should show

Re: Samples from T9 DSP controller

Simply way to solve your issue is to replace the limit switch to a regular mechanical switch or a magnetic type without feeding power required. If you have to use electrical type limit switch, find one with 5V power. I don't know why you couldn't get Y to move. If Y didn't move and didn't get the Y ...

Re: 80 watt PS with 100 watt laser tube

Sorry I oversight your message. I though you're trying to drive a 80W laser tube with a 100W laser power supply. The fact is that you're trying to do other way. In this case, same thing that you need to monitor the current not being over or the laser power supply could be 'overloaded' and get burned...

Re: 60W Power supply keeps failing

To me it is not acceptable for a machine not able to run at 400mm/s for engraving! Our machine require to run at least 550mm/s as a minimum standard before we allow it to leave our shop. I used to do my engraving work for at least 550mm/s in most case. 600mm/s or 650mm.s is not uncommon here in our ...

Re: 60W Power supply keeps failing

60W is great for engraving. Even a 80W is still doing a very good job!
For 40W laser tube, it sometimes may not get you enough power for deep engraving when speed like 500mm/s or up

Re: 60W Power supply keeps failing

I think you need to pay closed attention to your laser tube. 3 power supply broken in a year sounds unbelievable. When the laser power supply arcing, either the transformer of LPSU defective or the laser tube is leaking gas! Not sure why you unplugged the current meter. To us, it is one of the most ...

Re: 80 watt PS with 100 watt laser tube

Yes you can do it but you must limited the current to 26mA (max 28mA) for better to the tube. You may get boost cutting power but just pay more attention on the current. If the machine doesn't has any current monitor meter, you better get one and installed in series with the laser tube in the Ground...

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Then it is your position relative issue. Just click the button on the menu bar and find one "Positive Relative". Change it to whatever position of your limit switch, in this case, it is Top Left

Re: RAYCAM V12 and LO-x7 question

Also, your position relative is not right
See the Blue dot. It should be at the Top Left corner
