Re: Water temp safety

You don't want to go too low either because condensation could happen if temperature is too low (closed to dew point). I'll suggest 23~25'C is good range for the laser tube.

Re: Decelerate after engrave

What are you trying to cut with 300mm/s?? I can’t image anyone would do cutting for over 150mm/s of which we do outline of an object instead of cut through. You can’t break the natural of physics by not allowing stopping without acceleration oand/or deceleration. You may, however, adding delay (exte...

Re: Analog meter questions

No meter included with a tube purchase
Get the 30mA meter which should be fine in general

Re: Raycam crashing

I tried a few sample but couldn't duplicate the 'crash'. May be you should post the image here and let me try it

Re: Rotary Engraving?

I’ve been trying to get the programmer ‘Li” to work on some issue on the X7, but I didn’t get any response from him. Often it is very frustrating to deal with suppliers in China. No matter how much effort I have done to the X7. now he care less because sales is picking up.

Re: In Progress

I don't think it is software or setting can help. As I told you before that the issue should be mechanic issue, possible bad motor or bad limit switch. Without the machine on hand for testing, sorry I really can't help much.

Re: Raycam Vs Lasercad

Original plan was that there should be a 'lot' of difference between RayCam and LaserCad. But the fact (I surrounded) is that beside the rotary feature, there is no difference between LaserCad and Raycam. All controller shipped after Oct 2016 came with Raycam and therefore we no longer provide updat...

Re: Real time auto focus tracking system for CO2 laser

Yes, it used a laser distance measurement device to calculate the distance through a DA converter. Then, we have to use A/D converter to convert the analog voltage back to the controller and make adjustment on the laser head. I haven't though much about the initiation yet till the prototype arrived....

We're working on it. We just finished a manual for the T9 controller. The X7 will be next

Re: Real time auto focus tracking system for CO2 laser

Regular stepping motor is ok. Remember that is is designed for cutting but not for engraving so the X traveling speed is hardly go over 50mm/s. But one may want to upgrade the X motor for another size bigger or like you said get the closed loop stepper should get better performance. I need to test i...

Real time auto focus tracking system for CO2 laser

Hey folks

We are designing a real time tracking system similar to this:

We should be able to launch first system in two months if things gone smoothly. Let’s double finger it

Re: Rotary Engraving?

I may be a little bit exaggerate of being knocked down by two bottle. But, after one bottle, my face got hot. If lucky I could finish the second bottle, my face would get red and I could walk straight on a waving boat  I like 'Foaster', an Australian beer but not very popular. Sometimes I may t...

Re: Rotary Engraving?

Good to know that you're not getting mad on me :P I hate to see people blamed on me for things that I didn't commit. Anyway, you may send the controller back to us for upgrade. Just let you know that the Y movement will be disabled once you enabled the rotary. People blamed on me on that part as wel...
