Excellent! If all good, please post feedback on FB and/or CNCZone.com Very appreciated! ;) Out next move is to get better support on SVG files, then DXF, and AI. Will take a while but we are on the track. Stay tuned Marco Good news. Looking forward to being able to import multiple layers in AI. I f...

Re: Any tips in preparing Adobe Illustrator artwork?

Hi Marco. Wondering how the meetings went and if you had any luck getting my file to work. I'm really anxious to get going on my projects. On a whim I tried uploading the project into the T9's memory and running it from the front panel. The results were very odd.... 1. Instead of being just a couple...

Re: Any tips in preparing Adobe Illustrator artwork?

Marco, I've saved the .AI from several different versions of Illustrator, saving them in Illustrator 8 format. It's better, but not giving the right results. The test .AI file has three layers: one for cut lines in red, a second for engrave shapes in black, and a third for positioning guides in blue...

Anyone using T9 with Autocad? Share your experiences.

Looking for a more engineering-accurate way of creating art for jobs requiring a combination of cutting and engraving. I'm debating whether I should buy AutoCAD or not. Is anyone doing this with the T9 controller and AutoCad? What version? Any helpful tips? Also, If I'm not designing on the same com...

Re: Any tips in preparing Adobe Illustrator artwork?

I found how to save it as a version 8.0 AI file. It does import but I only get one layer, with everything...black engraving shapes and red cut lines merged together. I decided to try engraving it anyway as a further test. I set the power on that layer to 40% and clicked start. The laser power on the...

Re: Any tips in preparing Adobe Illustrator artwork?

Save it in Illustrator version V8.0 and give it a try Marco (in Japan) I don't know how to acquire Illustrator 8.0 or even get it running on a modern computer since it's 20 years old. :) I'm sort of puzzled since the LaserSoft documentation lists CS6 and Creative Cloud 2014 as the supported version...

Any tips in preparing Adobe Illustrator artwork?

I've got some artwork created in Adobe Illustrator CC2014 and saved as a .AI file. It was created in RGB colorspace with a 2-inch square artboard. It has three types of objects on it: - rectangular and circle shapes in RGB red at 0.01pt line width to be cut out - graphics and text converted to outli...

Re: t9 Upgrade - Laser Won't Fire

If you can fire the laser by pressing the Laser button on the LCD control board, it means that the system is ready to some extend. Check your laser power setting, and if you enabled the layer (a square check box next to the layer distinguish by colors). Marco Thanks. I just got the "silk"...

Re: t9 Upgrade - Laser Won't Fire

Check water protection. On your laser power supply, there should be a terminal named " WP" which is used for the water sensor control input. If you haven't any water sensor installed in your machine, you may connect it to Ground to enable then laser power supply. If it is not water protec...
